Plaster Cloth
Plaster Cloth is the easy, convenient method for modeling lightweight land contours and terrain base.
The plaster-coated cloth creates a durable hard shell, designed to accept Earth Colors™ Liquid Pigment,
paints, plaster castings and landscape materials easily and with realistic results. Use to fill gaps around rocks,
tunnels, in terrain gaps and seams and to blend terrain features.
Woodland Scenics Plaster Cloth is the easiest way to build hills, plateaus, valleys, mountains and
other terrain features of any size or scale without the mess of using wire mesh and plaster.
All you need is newspaper, masking tape and a pan of water.
Instructions
1. Roll up sheets of newspaper to form paper wads. When satisfied with height and shape of terrain contours, tape paper wads in place
2. Cut approx.12 inch long sheets of Plaster Cloth from roll.
3. Hold corners of sheets with bumpy side facing outward. Dip sheet in pan of water.
4. Gently lay wet Plaster Cloth over newspaper wads and spread plaster with finger- tips filling in holes.
5. Overlap previous sheet by 1/2 for strength. Repeat until terrain is covered.
Allow Plaster Cloth to dry overnight, then add Woodland Scenics’ landscaping materials
